Thank you for encouraging your child to practice and do his/her best. I am very proud of the students for their performance at the Fall Concert!
Please continue to encourage practice as we prepare for the school Christmas program on December 17 at 6:30 p.m. The Beginning Band and Elementary choir will each be performing a few numbers in addition to the cantata.
A few reminders as we near the end of the first semester on January 15:
1) Practice sheets are due each Monday;
2) Each student is required to attend one community performance/semester.
On December 18 and 19 the 7-10 Choir and Silvertones will be singing in two Christmas programs. These programs are good options for your community concert! See the listing under "Upcoming Performances" for specific details.
Happy Holidays!

Welcome to the TCJA Music Department!
I am excited for the musical opportunities that await us this school year! My objective for music education is to increase the student's understanding of and appreciation for music by studying various styles of music, both choral and instrumental, in differing levels of skill. Thank you for encouraging your student to make the most of this learning opportunity!
